The team showed great character, Chiefs coach says

Bulawayo Chiefs coach Lizwe Sweswe said that his team’s recent two games has displayed outstanding character on their part.

Chiefs recorded two back-to-back wins, beating Dynamos 2-3 at the backyard (National Sports Stadium) and Yadah 2-1 at Luveve Stadium last Saturday.

The team is now sitting in position 11, with nine points from two wins and three draws.

On Sunday, the Amakhosi Amahle will travel to Hwange to face Hwange FC, who are sitting in position eight with 10 points.

Hwange are coming off a 1-0 loss to current log leaders Highlanders.

“Two wins, yes; that’s character from the boys and self-belief. They have been working so hard since the beginning of the season. It was just that win that we all needed, and it came at the right time.

“If you look at the table, a few teams have posted more than three wins, so it’s still early, and it’s good we are in the pack of teams that have won once or twice.” “The boys will keep working hard to win as many games as possible, and that can be achievable if they work so hard,” he said.
