Dynamos coach Genesis Mangombe is hoping to lead his team to their third consecutive win when they face Simba Bhora at Barbourfields Stadium on August 27.

Simba Bhora are out of the Chibuku Super Cup after they lost 1 – 0 to Dynamos on August 12 in the first round of the competition.

Dynamos went on to defeat Sheasham by a convincing 2 – 0 in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) match.

The Glamour Boys, who recently parted ways with coach Herbert Maruwa, are now hoping for a third win in as many matches at the expense of Simba Bhora once again.

Mangombe – who has taken over the hot seat on an interim basis following the departure of Maruw – is optimistic and believes the win over Sheasham demonstrates the team’s ability to collect maximum points on a consistent basis.

“I am happy also that we managed to create a lot of chances and at the end of the day, we managed to score twice which is a positive for us.” Mangombe said.

“I think we will identify some of the things as we progress. You could see that we are trying to move the ball fast, to have all the players get involved so that we can play as a unit,” he added.

Dynamos are 4th on the log with 32 points after 19 games and another victory will breathe more life into their ailing league title campaign.
