BREAKING: UAE Launches New Entry Visas

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched at least ten types of visas for travelers to the country in a modernization of its visas that is set to position the country as a perfect location for employment, investment, entrepreneurship, education and living.

According to Zvakwana Nomore Sweto, a United Arab Emirates-based Zimbabwean journalist and author, some of the major improvements for the entry visas include facilitating the entry requirements for all visa types and offering flexible visa durations that not only meet the needs of the visitors but also their purpose of the visit.

The visa types, which are now available for single or multiple entries for 60 days from their date of issuance, and can be renewed for similar periods, include Golden visa for scientists, Golden visa for skilled workers, Golden visa for exceptional talents, Golden visa for real estate investors, Golden visa for entrepreneurs, Golden visa for students, Golden visa UAE for humanitarian pioneers, Golden visa UAE for doctors and nurses, Green residence for skilled employees, Green residence for freelancing and self-employment, Green residence for investor or partner, Job exploration entry visa, Multi-entry tourist visa and Business entry visa.

Job seekers, especially young talents and skilled professionals, will take advantage of the Job Exploration Visa which does not require a sponsor or a host.
Applicants will need to meet the following requirements: is classified in the first or second or third skill level as per the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization, is a fresh graduate of the best 500 universities in the world; hand as a minimum educational level of a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.

The country has also introduced the five-year multi-tourist visa which will see visitors allowed to stay in the country for up to 90 days, with the possibility of extension for a similar period if one doesn’t exceed 180 days in one year.
The visa also does not require a sponsor.
